Good for winter
on September 20, 2011
I love the packaging on this foundation - it's simply pretty. It has a pump and dispenses easily and just the right amount. It goes on feeling like a moisturizer and not foundtion - it's like putting on face cream.
It has a slight glimmer to it, and my 44 year old face could do without that. To me that little bit of glimmer actually makes my forehead wrinkle a bit more noticable. - my son (15) said "That foundation makes you look more wrinkley." Gee, thanks. I looked closer - yep, it does. The fine lines fade away, but this one that is definitely there, it made it look worse.
The foundation is very dewy - it needs setting with powder so as not to smudge off - but then, it feels like a very heavy foundation - it was a bit heavy without the powder.
I love the color though - I have very light skin and it's very hard to get a good match - I seem to have peachy undertones and this shade is just perfect - it just goes on with no visible sign of it. It reminds me of the same shade of Revlon's Color Stay - which I really prefer - but this one feels like it's going to be good for winter, as my skin gets dry in the winter, and it's supposed to be antiaging - it feels like it might be.
After wearing it a few hours, the color remains true, although it is not as lasting as the Color Stay by Revlon - you can tell you've lost some of it after 2-3 hours.
