And then it broke after only 3 weeks of use.

The directions say: “Release curls by placing the finger of one hand on the cool tip and pressing the rotate barrel button with the other hand.

I will buy another one if Revlon can go back to some of the old ideas.

I'm someone who cannot blow dry and style my own hair, which is very fine. I keep it short, in either a straight style or all over perm, but hate the tight, just permed look. I've used other brands of hot air stylers made by Sassoon, with reasonably good success on my perms, but this product is amazing! I own the RV444, which has all the identical accessories and specifications as this RV444C. In a matter of minutes, after simply rolling and curling the 11/2 inch barrel through my hair, it looked as though it had a natural curl and was easy to style. I'm 69 years old and don't have time to spend trying to achieve results, because of a variety of physical infirmities. I don't know how it would perform with longer hair, but for my needs, I couldn't ask for a better product and have recommended it to friends.

This hairdrier has been redesigned. I am very upset with the Revelon Company for doing that. The brush surface has been shortened and air vents put in the brush attachments. That makes it very difficut to dry the hair because the air from the vents blows the hair that is not on the brush and disturbes the styled hair that has already been dried. The handle has been made larger around. That makes it very hard for someone who has difficulty gripping to use it. I have used the earlier designed hairdrier for years and loved it, but this one leaves a lot to be desired. I wish Revelon had left the design alone and not made the so called improvements. I know the person or persons who redesigned the drier never dried their hair with it. Because if they had, they would have never gotten through the styling process.

This product works better than any curling iron or hot brush I've tried - I blow my hair dry and it's all frizzy - then I just section my hair out and use this curling brush on it and it makes my hair super silky with lots of body and a bit of a curl at the ends. I bought one of these at the store about a two years ago and then I broke it. I looked all over for a new one and ended up trying many different types and none of them worked as good as this one. I finally did a search on the internet and found it on Amazon. I bought 3 just to make sure I am never without one! : ) THis is by far the best product and an added bonus is that it's much cheaper than most of the rest in this category.

As soon as I received this brush hair dryer, I tried it out ... with great results. My hair is fine but lots of it, along with those miserable thick curly gray hairs mixed in with the split ends. So I always try to be gentle on my hair and this product is perfect for that. The rollers were perfect sized for me, and I like the release button so there wasn't any tangling. My hair dried overall in about 10 minutes tops. The noise level is minimal, much less than my traditional 1200w hairdryer. The end result, nice smooth, silky, shiny and controlled with just a spriter of hair spray. Extremely reasonable price wise and will buy another if and when the time comes this one doesn't work.

I have bad hair. No two ways about it, bad hair. It's thin, it's fine, it's like cat fur. This hair styling device has given me the best hair I've had in years. I get a much better outcome with it than I did with a round brush and my blow dryer. I would definitely repurchase and may buy another one just to have a spare.

My other (brand) hot hair brush is the 'comb style' type; this is my first 'brush style'. My preference is the harder comb style over the brush style. It seems hair type, thickness, etc. would certainly play a big factor - my hair is thick and course.

This brush style works... it smooths hair, adds volume, and curl; it just takes a bit more effort to 'hold the hair' or get 'through the hair' because the brush bristles are not strong enough to go through thick hair.

This is a very good choice, I am not disappointed in this product. If you have thick or course hair, understand that you should use smaller sections for styling; for 'lift' - just holding the curling brush under the hair close to the scalp works pretty good...

Bad side... If you don't pay attention, your hair will get caught in between the removeable brush and handle.

I bought this hot air brush at KMart, its the only one they have with a larger size barrel. This is the third one I bought in a less than a 2 year period. I use it daily, and it gives great results. However, it does not last more than 4-6 months. The point at which it breaks each and every time is where 2 flimsy screws are attached to the barrel. I am now looking here at Amazon to find a different brand, for when my current airbrush breaks I will not buy another Revlon one. If it wasn't for the barrel breaking off so soon after purchase I'd give it 5 stars.

I have owned this product for the past few months. I love the brush sizes and that they are interchangeable. Great tool for loosening curly hair for a softer look. The quick curl-release is great. It also has several temperature settings . . . low/high heat and cool for setting the curl. The barrels also cool down fairly quickly after use.

My only complaint is the plastic power switch. It pops off at times and is tempermental about making a connection at start-up and switching the temperature settings. It may just be my unit or could be a flaw in the product. Check out the switch before purchase, if possible.

I paid only $17.00 + tax at Walmart. I am looking for a similar product with the same features but sturdier construction. This one is not worth $30+.
