Adequate, but not the greatest.,

This review is from: Revlon RV064 Perfect Heat Professional Straightener with Ceramic, Black, 2 Inch (Health and Beauty)
I own a 0.5 inch Revlon ceramic flat iron, which I love, so I purchased this 2 inch ceramic flat iron based on that experience. This one has less sturdy casing, does not get as hot, and only has three settings - high, medium, or low. Overall, it does the job, but just not as well as I expected. I have very thick hair, so perhaps someone with less thick hair will have a better experience.

Not real ceramic,
I really like the shape of this hair straightener because it lets me get close to the scalp and it's easy to manouver. But, as a flat iron it simply doesn't work. It will reduce the volume of your hair significantly, but does not actually straighten you hair. The plates are not real ceramic, simply ceramic coated (if that) so do not heat up to really do a good job.
I suggest saving your money and investing in a salon quality flat iron... you will not be sorry!

Awful product,
By Gabriela (Florida) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Revlon RV062 Perfect Heat Professional Straightener with Ceramic, Black, 1 Inch (Health and Beauty)
I've had this iron for a very long time, but that might just be because i refuse to use it. It doesn't get hot enough even on the highest setting after 15 minutes and my hair always gets caught between the plate and the plastic handle usually resulting in ripping my hair out, on top of everything it doesn't even work because i usually blow-dry my hair straight and only use the iron for the ends and to give my hair a nicer finish, but the darned thing won't even do that, now keep in mind that my hair isn't by any means unmanageable it is only loosely curled and healthy since i've never permed it dyed it or anything of the sort. I would much much more recommend the 16 dollar conair ceramic 2 inch straightener, my roommate has it and it gets my hair sooo straight even in the humidity of florida, the only problem with that one is that after repeated use it can damage hair a little. So for the moment I'm considering purchasing one of the more expensive hair straighteners which in the long run are better investments than buying several relatively cheap ones like this one.
