airflow attachement,
By Tamstirr "Tamstirr" (So Cal.) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Revlon RV469 1875 Watt Ceramic Quiet Turbo Dryer (Health and Beauty)
I love this hair dryer except for the fact that the concentrated airflow attachement is faulty. The little prongs that attach it to the dryer itself are very thin and brittle. They break very easliy and now my attachement just rests on the dryer...one false move and it falls right off. I cannot seem to find any place to order a replacemnt part. Other than the faulty attachement, I have had no trouble with my hair dryer.

Does not last long,
By Jelena V.P. (Maryland, US) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Revlon RV469 1875 Watt Ceramic Quiet Turbo Dryer (Health and Beauty)
I've had this hair dryer for almost a year already. The things I like about it are the convenient speed and heat switches (it has 3 settings available for each) and the size. It is shorter than majority of the hair dryers, which makes it easier to use on the short hair (although I do agree with other reviewers that it is quite heavy). Also the bigger nozzle delivers more air flow, speeding up the drying process.
So why only 3 starts? First of all, it does not deliver on the "quiet" part and is as noisy as all my previous hair dryers. Second, the concentrator attachment, which is a vital accessory for styling, does not stay in place and falls off easily. After falling several times on the floor, it cracked and the ring that is supposed to connect it to the nozzle, fell apart piece by piece, making the attachment useless in just a few months. Also it seems to have the same problem as many other hair dryers: after less than a year of use the "hot" setting became too hot and now I'm down to "warm or nothing".

Bad attachment,

I love this dryer, but can't find anywhere to buy the attachment. That alone would make me not buy it again.

Not So Great,

I think the full power on this blows so hard it tangles your hair, which is damaging. So most of the time I used the low speed. It doesn't feel real hot but seems to dry fairly quickly. The selling point for me was the advertised quiet motor. That is NOT true. I've had other that were much quieter. So I'm returning it and trying something else.

This dryer works very well and is very quiet. BUT I have had two now and they both broke down after a 6 months of daily use. They overheat easily and stop running. It only takes about 6-10 minutes of running on high to overheat the motor and then it needs 15 minutes to recover. Ugh!

I was so upset when my hair dryer just finally gave out one morning. It was similar to this model just about 4 years older. I looked everywhere for a true quiet hair dryer and this is the best one that I have found so far. It is not a bad purchase for the price, the only bad thing is that it is a little heavy and it is not that quiet. It does probably beat most other regular hairdryers on noise, and it produces very high heat flow with multiple settings.

professional & easy to style,

I got two fans. Right pressure and temperature is a switch away. Finish styling at cool low and little bit of high regime, and you get a great natural gloss. My hair is touched (I use for highlights instead of bleaching kits) by Revlon High Dimension (super gloss) cream color gel, it is a WOW
