My wife received this item as a Christmas gift. She loves the effects but we both agree that the heat from the wax is painful and difficult to fully enjoy. I normally could care less about these type of items as a typical guy, but my wife insisted that she was my elbows. We had a deal with some bargaining so I let her have her fun.

Well, it is HOTTER than hades and I just can't appreciate the after effects. It was supposed to take some of the excess skin off and make it smoother (after she spent time pre-cleaning.) Seems as if I might have needed 3 treatments!!! I guess I don't see what the big ballyhoo is, but then again, I'm just a guy! ;-)

For what it's worth, my wife likes the effects she received, but she wasn't thrilled with the pain of the heat. To each his/her own I reckon. We both wish it had a temperature control. I don't know if others have it or not but it sure would be nice!

Boy, was I surprised when I got this for Christmas. It was not something that I would have chosen for myself or anyone else. I was not completely impressed when I opened it and saw what it was. But I was anxious to give it a try. As soon as I got home, I got it set up. After about an hour and a half, I started the process. I had been warned to only do one hand at a time so that I would not make a big mess.
First dip, hmmmm, this is nice, second dip, hmmmmmm, wow. After the recommended 5 dips, and baggie and mit, I sat and savored the warmth. (Michigan winters are not exceptionally warm so...) As I savored the warmth, the aroma was also soothing. Very nice! Finally it came time to peel off the paraffin. I was amazed at how smooth my skin was. I immediately moved on to the second hand and that went even better. I found that dipping wrist to front and fingertips to back worked best for me.
It was such an experience that I was ready to do it again, later in the day. My hands felt smooth and were very fragrant the entire day. I only processed once a day though to conserve the paraffin. I don't want to run out! I'm next going to order the Sandelwood fragrance to see what that is like. I'd be surprised if it could be better than the Seabreeze scent that they supply with the unit.
If you get one for a gift, thank the giver a bunch. If you want to indulge yourself, this is the gift for you. If you have someone you want to pamper, this would do it!

I love my home waxing machine. Getting your hands and feet done at the salon can be expensive. This machine costs less than what I have paid to have my feet dipped twice. This is simple to use and best of all you can do it over and over again. Revlon has scented wax which is wonderful. You feet and hands will feel so soft when you do this. The machine is engineered well so there is very little mess. If you are on the edge thinking about one of these, I would definately encourage you to check this one out.
