The only complaint I have about it, which I find to be true of most Vidal Sassoon products, is that it stops working after about a year. But it comes with a warranty so you can take full advantage of that. It's a great straightener though. I have thick, semi-coarse hair and it actually works well, which isn't true of all straighteners. It's a fair price, considering most decent straighteners cost more than $100.

I like the size of it also, 1.5 seems to be perfect. I find anything bigger than that to be clunky and difficult to work with and anything smaller than that to be a bit of a hassle with all of my hair.
