this is a good piece of good music. The more i like it (even without understanding the whole content!)stems from the trust that i have come to associate the musician's concern for crucial issues that affect the world and especially the african continent as a whole.Alpha always tries to avoid cheap sensational popular music(sentimental-love ballads) and chooses to...

2.0 out of 5 stars Maybe for Alpha Blondy fans, or international/French/African reggae fans
I am a huge Alpha Blondy fan, but unfortunately, if you want to get into Alpha Blondy, I think Best Of, Jerusalem, Cocody Rock, and Masada all have better songs. Maybe that's just my taste though. I guess from the album cover I was hoping for another Cocody Rock, so I'm a little disappointed after listening only once.

4.0 out of 5 stars Rasta is everywhere, March 20, 2003

This is a wonderful record made outside of Jamaica. The rhythms are catchy along with highly charged lyrics. Though much of the
singing is in French, as this album originates from one of the
French colonies in Africa, the lyrics flow quite nicely. If you
have a real appreciation for the international appeal that reggae is known for, this album works.
