Book Description

September 2000
This book is not a call for the violent overthrow of the government, nor is it a call to take up arms, nor is it a call to political activism in and of itself. It is a call to something far more extreme, a call to live out the gospel with all its radical claims, a call for the people of God to impact this generation with the prophetic message of repentance, a call to spark the most sweeping counterculture movement in our nation's history, a call to take back the moral ground that has been stolen from under our feet, a call to follow Jesus by life or by death. In that sense, it is a call to start a revolution - now!

5.0 out of 5 stars Let's Go For It!, October 12, 2000
This review is from: Revolution!: The Call to Holy War (Paperback)
This is undoubtedly one of the most well-written and challenging books that I have ever read. In the light of both the terrible condition of the world around us and the amazing redemption that Jesus has provided, is there any real alternative to living all-out for God? "Revolution" catalogs men and women, past and present, who have gone all-out and produced fruit that will abide. We are invited to do the same and given a road map that we can follow. Let's go for it!

This book is a must-read for all believers - unless, of course, you want to live a mediocre life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Coming back to the Norm, March 8, 2005

I enjoyed the book. Shared many things to challenge our way of lukewarm living. Dr Brown shares what the true message and spirit of the Gospel is and challenges us to move to the next step. The message of the book speaks highly of holiness.

Just on the side note, please dont misunderstand that Dr. Brown is trying to impart a message of legalism. He speaks against legalism in his other book "Go and sin no more". Understand, when he challenges us to live holy, he does not expect us to live on our strength but by God's grace.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good book, November 27, 2005

I couldn't put it down.
I think every Christian needs to read this book.
Of course I don't agree with everything. I don't think there is a book written by man, that I do. That's where discernment comes in.
Overall a great book!!
