Definite Potential for Inhabited, December 10, 2005
This review is from: The Revolution (Audio CD)
Inhabited's debut album, "The Revolution," is a letter to the concience of each and everyone of us. The general theme of the album is precisely the title: Revolution... of the heart, soul and mind. Inhabited takes it a step further: making it our responsability to begin it within ourselves.
Inhabited's "The Revolution" is mostly about the lyrics. You haven't really heard this album until you sat down with the lyrics. Deep, powerful, meaningful words carve deep into the hearts of those that listen to them... specifically taken through the medium of Sara Acker's voice. The vocals of this album are exceptionally good.
One can tell, with a single listen of the album, that Inhabited has unbelievable potential. The album leaves you slightly unfulfuilled (musically) since you can tell that the band's skilled musicians could do greater things. It's almost as if you could see the music building up to a pressure point, but never reaching it. One wants it to burst, but it just doesn't. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, since, for those that listen to (and like) this album, will most certainly expect greater things from this even greater band. So, the follow-up album is already on my list.
Their devotion to God will most certainly ensure Inhabited's place in the Christian music industry and, if they play their cards right, they might reach the places that only God has set in His heart for them.

Rawks!, January 9, 2006
This review is from: The Revolution (Audio CD)
Honestly, there are only two songs I really love on the album, but those two by themselves earn the whole thing a 5/5. Revolution gets a 5/5. Why? It's just plain rock. Not any kind of metal, punk, alternative, nothing. It's rock 'n roll, straight up. And it's well done. Rescue Me gets a 5/5 as well. It's chords flirt every so slightly with metal or hard rock, but it retains the melody of truly great music so it hits hard and sounds good doing it.

Awesome!!!!, July 25, 2005
This review is from: The Revolution (Audio CD)
The album absolutely rocks! I know the bass player, James. He's a friend of mine, and the music his band has written is awesome! I attended the cd release party, and they're great live. I suggest you pick up this cd right now! It offers a great message, and rocks out!! My Favorite Track is The Revolution. This album should actually get 6 stars.
