5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING COME BACK, GREAT CD!!!!!!!!!1
Great cd. This is one the most awaited cd in glam/hair rock and roll history. Danger Danger is back with Ted Poley on vocals. He sounds better than in the early 90's cd and is great team up by Rob Marcello(Guitars), Bruno Ravel (Bass) and Steve West(drums). It's a must have for any rock fan. You won't be disappointed.Revolve

5.0 out of 5 stars D2 IS BACK!, October 21, 2009

I'd just like to say that i think Danger Danger have outdone themselves on this one, folks! With songs like "Hearts on the Highway, Dirty Mind, That's What I'm Talkin About, and Never Give UP," you'll feel like you've been transported back to the year 1989, when MUSIC WAS ACTUALLY GOOD!!!!

So if you're a fan of Danger Danger, or just a fan of 80's melodic rock/aor scene, do yourself a HUGE favor and pick up a copy of this cd...you WILL NOT REGRET IT! =)

I'M A HARD D2 FAN AND I CAN TELL THIS IS THE BEST DANGER DANGER RECORD EVER. POLEY'S COME BACK GAVE A REBIRTH TO THE BAND. THE ALBUMS WITH PAUL LAINE WERE GOOD, BUT WHEN YOU HEAR REVOLVE, YOUR MIND WILL BE BLOWN UP. A MUST HAVE FOR FANS AND IDEAL TO HAVE NEW FANS. JUST DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND PUMP THE VOLUME UP TO HEARTS ON THE HIGHWAY AND KEEP ON KEEPIN' ON, THEN YOU TELL ME.

4.0 out of 5 stars I've been waiting for this for a long time!, October 28, 2009

I've been a huge Danger Danger fan ever since I found a used copy of their debut album thirteen or so years ago. I've worn out ever album since then, including the awesome "Live and Nude" album.

So I was very excited when I found out D2 would be recording another album and would be recording it with Ted Poley on vocals. Well, I believe I hyped it up to much in my mind that after my first complete listen... I was a little disappointed. It wasn't bad but it wasn't what I was expecting either. I'm glad to say I gave it a few more listens since then and it keeps getting better and better. Yet another great D2 album. It's great to hear Poley again (even though I loved the D2 albums with Laine) and Marcello's guitar work is exceptional.

If you are a fan of Danger Danger, please do yourself a favor and pick this one up. It did take me a few listens to get into it, but once I did, I was hooked. This one ranks right up there with the first album, Screw It, Four the Hard Way, and The Return of the Great Gildersleeves.

Thank you Danger Danger.

This is the 6th studio release from American rock band "Danger Danger". Although the group started off as a glam metal outfit like so many others in the late 80s, they consistently delivered quality albums through the unforgiving 90s while their sound took a more AOR turn. Once again the songwriting core of Bruno Ravel (B) and Steve West (D) remains intact guaranteeing the original "Danger Danger" vibe.

This release sees the return of original vocalist Ted Poley while also marking the studio debut of Rob Marcello ("Marcello-Vestry") as the lead guitarist of "Danger Danger". It is a pleasure to hear that "Revolve" is probably the most consistent album in the band's history as the quartet has managed to keep the bar steadily high on all 11 tracks of this album.

Despite the catchy choruses, strong harmonies and Marcello's accomplished performance, one can not help but think that "Revolve" is too much of an easy listener. You might say that's more than expected as this is AOR; still I felt that the album should include more of those heavy opening riffs and possibly a couple of aggressive songs ( similar to "Under the Gun", "Grind" and "Goin', Goin' Gone") would also fit nicely.
This is probably the most radio friendly album of "Danger Danger" and although it is pretty good I suspect it would have been better with Paul Laine on lead vocals. Of course the subject Poley/ Laine can generate endless conversation so I conclude that it is fascinating to see Danger Danger reformed with their original vocalist and a new guitarist who is clearly qualified to fill Andy Timmons' shoes.

Personal favorites include "Ghost of Love", "Hearts on the highway", and "Rocket to your heart" and "Beautiful Regret".

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow, surprising good, can easily be the best cd of '09, March 17, 2011

Wow, surprising good, I absolutely love this cd. It's different than their first 2 albums, but in very good way. This album can easily be mistaken for Def Leppard (perhaps a follow-up to 'Adrenalize' album or something), but make no mistake, this is definitely DD sound. There are plenty of great song writing here and powerful ballads. Tones like "Killin' Love", "Never Give Up" and "Fugitive" are some my favorite ballads. Also, great catchy tones like "Keep On Keepin' On", "Heart on the highway" and "That's what I'm talking about" make this album complete. I haven't give a 5-stars review on Amazon for quite sometime, but this is certainly deserve it. I highly recommend it.

This is a great CD and I have played it over and over since I purchased it. This is probably the best CD Danger Danger released. A lot of good guitar rock songs and a couple ballads.
