I found that this Bible was laid out to draw the interest of a young woman between the ages of 13-20. Besides the scriptures in each Book of the Bible, there were other short stories and paragraphs interspersed with illustrations throughout to help the person to compare how the words and message in Biblical times of the Old and New Testament could relate to their own personal life. Hopefully, they could come to a conclusion that people have similar problems and situations no matter how many years separate the generations.

I teach four teen-age young ladies and this is the bible that I recommend for teenagers because it is much easier to understand and then we use both the KJV and the NIV along with this one. We truly enjoy all but this works best now in their lives. Thank you. Ms. Elaine

I was very impressed with the amount of historical information at the beginning of each book. My daughter was very excited about the focus for teenage girls. This book is fun and informative - what better way to learn about Jesus.

This is an awesome Bible for your Teenage daughter! I bought one three years ago for my oldest daughter who was at that time 13 years old and we attended the Revolve Tour for girls. She has loved it. She enjoys reading her Revolve Bible. My youngest daughter who is now about to turn 12 has been asking for a copy of the Revolve Bible for her Christmas or Birthday present. She said that she has looked at her sisters Bible and that "This is a Bible I can actually understand."

This Bible has inserts that help your teen identify with the scriptures and apply the scriptures to her life. She will learn what God thinks of her as a young woman and what God's plan is for us as Christians.

I believe your teenager as well as yourself as a parent will love the Revole Bible!F This is the Bible every teenage girl should have.

Let me say that I greatly appreciate the thought and energy spent to tailor a Bible to the needs and desires of teenage girls.

So often women in general are ignored or downplayed in Christianity. The Revolve Devotional Bible is a great way to show your daughter or loved one that women of faith are relevant, respected and recognized.

My only critique is the same critique I have with all contemporary English versions of the Bible. While I am all for reading the Bible in a language that is understandable and relevant, I also don't want us to lose the ability to quote scriptures and have it readily recognized.

I believe that one thing that unites all Christian faiths regardless of denomination or doctrine is the ability to recognize the Holy Scriptures when read or heard.

My only suggestion would be to make sure your teenager also has a copy of the KJV or NJV so that scripture memorization will be unifying and encouraging act. When she hears, "I can do all things through Christ...."
she should be able to say, "who strenghthens me." Not, (The Message version) "Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am. I don't mean that your help didn't mean a lot to me--it did. It was a beautiful thing that you came alongside me in my troubles."

I love this bible! I happened upon it accidently and decided to purchase it at a local Christian book store. A friend of mine saw it and fell in love with it also, so I gave it to her. I missed it so much that I had to buy another one for myself.

Although I am not a teenager, the fact that it has elements specifically geared toward teen girls makes this bible extra special and very fun to read.

I reccomend this bible for an actual teenager or "spiritual teenager." This bible breaks the word into more understandable text. The daily devos, quizzes, promises, world view, bible memorization tools help further one's growth and relationship with God! Being able to understand the text more assure more use!

I like the way it looks on the outside and I like the way the language is when reading it. It's hip and there are little excerpts in it that make it more modern and fun to read. Even though it's supposed to be for a teenager I love it!

I purchased this bible as a gift for my daughter and she loves it! It has short stories in it and she really enjoys it!
