initially impressed with the hype, but when the first unit came in, it wouldn't charge plugged into the wall. I was unable to reach any tech support from Revolve even via email, luckily Amazon sent me a new unit. The new unit doesn't perform like advertized, recently went to San Diego, and when I tried to charge 2 iphones at the same time both phones were going from a charged state to not charge state back and forth, even when I plugged the Revolve into the wall outlet. I've had this thing in direct sun for the past 7 days, and in Texas we just came out of 72 days of 100 degree weather so the sky has been clear, not one of the charge lights have come on. Still to this date cannot reach anyone at Revolve for tech support or any support. The only thing positive I have to say about this unit is that it will charge other low power devices, but doesn't perform well enough to keep. Maybe I just got 2 lemons, I don't know, but the fact that I cannot reach anyone at Revolve to help me Resolve my issues made me write this review. Good try at a cool device, but based on my experience I would have to say stay clear of this device.

On a recent trip to Yellowstone my wife and I used this product to keep both our I-phones and an I-pod charged. It worked well being re-charged on an electric outlet as well as by sunlight. It seems to have plenty of reserve and is really handy.

I just upgraded my iPhone to OS 4.02 and while the added features (like multi-tasking) are great, it really drains battery power fast. I was looking for an extended battery back up that would travel with me and found the xeMini from Revolve. Not only does the onboard LiIon battery supply multiple charges to my iPhone while out and about, it charges 2 mobile devices at once and allows for sync while charging when connected to my computer. Charges from the wall, the car (the xeMini plus comes with a great car charger and some cables as well), the computer and even has a solar panel for topping off the charge! I use the xeMini plugged into the wall (directly from the fold out prongs) and then into my iPhone and bluetooth headset overnight so in the morning my phone and headset are fully charged and the onboard battery is also fully charged so in the late afternoon when my iPhone battery is dead, I plug my iPhone into the xeMini and keep making and receiving calls - or listening to my music, watch videos, whatever. I used to not listen to music for fear of running out of battery late in the day and not be able to make or receive calls. Now i use my iPhone as much as I want because I know I have 2x the battery life with the xeMini on hand. Can't live without this thing now! Works with Flip HD video cameras, Kindle reader, Blackberry phones, Droid phones, EVO (my girlfriend has an EVO) and according to their marketing - over 3,000 mobile devices - they seem to have the mobile USB charging and battery thing totally figured out. They are also a "green" company - check out their website. I am writing this review because i LOVE this accessory - it is a needed accessory and I want everyone that might be on the fence about buying an accessory that is almost the cost of the phone itself to realize without this, all the great features of your smartphone don't do you any good with a dead battery! How many times do you forget to charge your phone overnight? Just grab your xeMini and go knowing you've got power along with you!
