This Revvo 100 Cl1H 4" painted cast-iron wheel has a 700-lb. load capacity and a 20 mm bore. It is made of cast iron for greater strength and resistance to temperature extremes than rubber or plastic, and is painted with clear resin shellac for resistance to corrosion. The wheel has a 1-3/4" wide crowned tread for low tractive resistance, and a roller bearing for radial load support with a hub length of 2-3/8". It measures 4 x 1-3/4 inches (Dia x W). (Dia is diameter, the vertical distance from top to bottom; W is width, the horizontal distance from one side of the tread to the other.) This painted cast-iron wheel is suitable for use in industrial material handling applications and in other settings where rough conditions are common.
Caster wheels are the rolling part of casters, which are wheeled mechanisms used to support and maneuver objects such as carts, racks, and dollies for material handling applications in many industries. Caster wheels may be single or dual (also called twin), and they are made from a variety of materials. Generally, wheels with hard tread material have a higher load capacity and roll easier than soft tread wheels, which provide quieter operation and cushioning.
Revvo Caster manufactures casters and wheels for material handling, OEM products, and industrial production. The company, founded in 1997, is headquartered in West Seneca, NY.
