A jaunt thru mariage therapy,

This review is from: Rewriting Love Stories: Brief Marital Therapy (Paperback)
This is a book a bit hard to define for it is of littel use to beginners or the experienced therapists. It is like overhearing a married couple take about their work with couples. There are a few redeeming thoughts on rituals but the rest is light on theory, tactics, case histories or clincial work with couples. keep looking.

A Book about Genuine Loving - I Love It!,
This review is from: Rewriting Love Stories: Brief Marital Therapy (Paperback)
I can't believe some of the reviewers who rate this book less than five stars. It's practical, clear, straight-forward, with illustrative examples. O'Hanlon and Hudson have cut out the fancy therapeutic jargon and handed us their experience in tasty, easy-to-swallow bites. Partners in a relationship can read and act upon these suggestions quite readily (and many of my clients have done so, with grace and good humor).

This book is not up to standard. It is disorganized and difficult to follow. Not sure who the audience is supposed to be. These authors have written much better books than this one. Give this one a skip.
