Better to just wrap with parchment paper and then overwrap with foil.

I tried putting a cookie right on the edge to hold it down and it still curled up.

OK, I admit, unlike the other reviewers I have NOT tried using this product for flat baking...no offense meant to anyone, but I always felt that standard parchment paper was created for that purpose...

...HOWEVER, if you want to cook something in a deep dish pan (cake, brownies, lasagna, mac-n-cheese, etc.)...you simply CANNOT beat this stuff...! The parchment side of course gives you the luxury of non-stick cooking (although I confess when I bake my brownies I still use a quick spray of non-stick cooking spray to ensure non-sticky-ness!) while the foil side gives you the luxury of being able to shape and mold the paper up the sides of the pan and curled over the top...for seamless and perfectly shaped cooking with (here it comes...wait for it...) ABSOLUTELY NO CLEAN UP...! Once you have removed/served your food just ball up the used parchment/foil and throw it away...!

This stuff has been a miracle for me and my brownies...I cook them double thick, let them cool for 2 or 3 hours and then I can remove the whole pan of brownies at once with no breakage...I simply lift the batch out by grabbing the parchment paper at both ends of the pan (it's VERY strong and will hold a LOT of weight even after cooking!) and put it on the counter for cutting and wrapping..!

I used to lose about an inch of brownie around the edges of each batch because no matter how hard I tried...EVERY pan I used would stick around the edges...but not any more..! My brownies are moist, chewy, and fudgy...even the dreaded CORNERS! No waste anymore...!

My only complaint would be the cost...$12 for a 30 SF roll is highwat robbery...I JUST bought this product in the supermarket today for $4.59 for the same size roll...and THAT'S even expensive, but well worth the money if you ask me...I probably saved that much money in wasted food the 1st time I used it...!

As noted in other reviews, the edges of the paper will curl and sometimes deform cookies. Thus, I would not recommend this product for baking cookies if their appearance is of utmost importance.

I purchased this pan lining paper for baking casseroles and it works fantastic! What I love about this product is that it is wide enough to fill a 9 by 13 or jelly roll pan, unlike Martha Stewart's version, and does not allow for casseroles to cement to the pan. If you are baking casseroles with this, in particular, you must be aware that the casserole will not bake as quickly, so you may have to adjust either the temperature of the oven or the cook time.

I've seen all the negative reviews regarding using this product with cookies, right before I actually decided to use it... but I FOUND A LITTLE TRICK!
I was baking cookies on non-stick pans, but because I was using craisins in them, they kept sticking here and there. I had a roll of these pan liners and decided to give it a shot, but wanted to see if anyone had used them for cookies... I came here. Even after reading the negative reviews, I had to see for myself - I'm stubborn that way.
With the first dozen I tried, yes - the corners curled in slightly, but not enough to ruin any cookies. Then, I thought I'd try something... 1) Tear off a piece just large enough to fit inside the cookie sheet. 2) Flip it over to the foil side and fold each LONG EDGE over about a half to an inch and make a tight crease. 3) Flip the sheet back to the parchment side with the folds tucked under and place on the sheet.
Result: The short ends curl much less and do not interfere with the cookies and I was able to fit a whole dozen within the limits of the sheet... and the best part was I only had to use 1 sheet for each of the 2 cookie sheets I was using (after the initial try) and used them over and over - I made a DOUBLE recipe of cookies! I will use this product in all my future cookie projects. :)

I've used this product to line loaf pans and other pans with sides. It is MUCH easier for this purpose than using parchment paper. The foil side shapes to the pan, unlike parchment paper, and you don't need to oil this liner.

I also found another use for it. When I have an item like camembert or brie which I would never wrap in aluminum foil, I wrap it in this pan-lining paper, paper side to the cheese. The aluminum side does not deteriorate over many openings and closings the way aluminum foil often does and the food is not exposed to aluminum.

I've been using this to line the pans for anything I'm baking which I don't want to clean up a sticky mess. This includes baking from brownies to lasagna. I have heard the acid from acidic foods such as tomatoes will react to aluminium and there is concern about a possible link between the use of aluminum product and alzheimer's. I'm no doctor , nor am I saying there is an absolute connection, all I'm saying is there has been studies. I personally would rather error on the side of caution and it's nice to have an option which is a win - win for me.

With Reynold's Non-stick Pan lining paper I don't have to compromise.

My only issue is it's a bit difficult to get it to press into corners nicely but other than that I'm happy with it. I used it to bake a lasagna in May and wrapped the lasagna in it then froze it and had it for dinner lastnight and the lasagna was great!

I'm all for saving money too. I didn't buy this here. Check around for prices , Wal-mart has it for $3.58 so I'm not sure why it's so expensive here on Amazon. I also found a $1.00 off coupon on Reynold's website.
