The perfect addition to an incredible game, April 14, 2002
This review is from: Rez: Gamer's Guide to (Audio CD)
Those of you who enjoyed Rez simply can't ignore this soundtrack. Instead of presenting us with the exact tracks from the game, it offers 10 remix of the main songs from Rez, usually by the original artists. I can only deplore the absence of the ending song, which really touched me while playing the game. All of the remix are excellent and offer a good deal of variety, and as in Rez, they seem to trigger certain emotions within you....Every time I start listening to it, it brings back all kinds of memories and forgotten feelings. To conclude, I would like to point out the excellent quality of the CD booklet art/design, which offers a continuity to the Rez "universe" and includes info(in Japanese) about the game.

If you liked the game...., April 28, 2002
This review is from: Rez: Gamer's Guide to (Audio CD)
Good music from a good game. The bonus tracks by Oval are quite nice. My only complaint is that the songs "flow" with a bit less dynamicism than in the game, and some parts are even missing (most notably the wonderful first-boss-fight music.) Overall it delivers. It's great to stick on compilations for friends.
