Ryoko Hirosue's talent isn't just for Japan natives!,

Simply put, Ryoko Hirosue is Japanese pop at its best. The album is filled with clever phrasings as well as strong musical prowess. Don't get the idea that if you aren't from Japan you won't enjoy Ryoko. Admirable vocal harmonies play an important role, as well as some ripping instrumental riffs, that make the listener want to jump up and dance along. Ryoko's sensetive, inflective side is displayed on tracks like 'Kaze No Prism' and 'Summer Sunset', while her versatility and harder side crash into tracks like 'Jeans'. The album displays several characteristics that may find home with artists ranging from Natalie Imbrulia to Led Zeppelin. The transcendent harmonies play a key role in the pop style choruses, that practically guarantee to be stuck in your ead for days. Pick up Ryoko Hirosue, and you won't want to put it back down!

Compilation of Ryoko Hirosue's music from mid 90'sSometimes hard to find. Acquired taste in japanese pop but can be easily sampled on youtube. Ryoko Hirosue is more noted for her acting but as fans know, J-Idols have to do a lil of everything and she's not too bad as a singer. |
