This sultry concert was recorded (Thank God!) in Los Angeles in the summer of 1998, and OH!! - What A Night! The very gifted Phil Upchurch playing guitar is front and center on these eight hot and cookin' R & B cuts! Backing him is the 20-piece Phil-Harmonic Orchestra adding dimension to the rich musical experience. And in addition, 4 soulful vocalists let loose on the 9-minute encore. Reminiscent of the days of The Quiet Storm, this recording gives you a seat front-row-center to a very limited edition cd ripping with soul sounds! I dare you to sit still while you listen!
