Not up to par,
By A Customer
This review is from: Rhapsody in Time (Paperback)
I found this book disappointing. The plot was fun, and the characters were exciting (although I missed most of the '20's jazz references), but depth and believability were sorely lacking. When did Alec and Liz fall in love? What did they have in common? How could he have instantly believed her story about being from the future? And I have to say, if I went back to 1927 to live, I would be sorely tempted to beat the stock market crash and to do my best to prevent WW2. Plus, didn't Liz have any qualms about never seeing her friends and family who lived in 1992 ever again? This book just wasn't worth it.

one of the best time travel books i have read.,

I normally stay away from time travel romance books, but this was one of the better ones out there. The author clearly loves the roaring twenties and, through that love, manages to bring the reader back to that time period. The hero and heroine are quite loveable and even though some events which occur seem quite unlikely, it is still a wonderful book that is well written and keeps the interest level at a maximum
