A great band that never got noticed,

Sadly the final album made by Kal David, Harvey Brooks, and the rest of the band.They made 2 previous albums - The Fabulous Rhinestones, and Freewheelin, both excellant R&B and blue eyed soul. They were an awesome band to see live, but unfortunately never really caught on outside of the big bar scene outside of New England. This was to be their 1 last shot at the brass ring, they shortened the name of the band to simply Rhinestones, and despite a extremely solid effort, their record company did little to support them and this album went nowhere. Unfortunately only available on vinyl, but if you can get a listen, a very good album indeed. |
