I like the stackable feature, so they dont occupy as much space when stored.
BCP
They are much easier to work with than steel ramps and have supported a heavy vehicle ( Montero ) over night with no problem.

This set worked very well as far as clearance and it gets my cars high enough off the ground to do oil changes comfortably.

I purchased these two months ago at a local (very well known) car parts store. They broke the second time I used them... under a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan. I just wanted to change the oil in my wife's car. I'm so thankful that I wasn't under the vehicle when it happened. This happened a couple of weeks ago, and I wasn't even going to leave a review. I'm not looking for a refund, nor do I want a replacement set (I would be too afraid to use them anyway). I'm also not the least bit angry. I've had some great purchases in my life and I've had some not so great purchases. This purchase obviously was not a very good experience for me, but I've certainly wasted more than fifty bucks on things that I can't even remember. The more I thought about it, the more I felt compelled to let others know that in my opinion, THESE ARE NOT SAFE, even for everyday, average weight vehicles!

They look nice, are light weight, stack nicely, are wide and inexpensive and all that. But backing up on them with my 9740lbd truck squeezed them to death! They are NOT 16,000 lbd! More like 6-7kk lbd tops 3.3.5 tons, at which weight rating I would give it a 5 star for they built, price, and weight.
Also be carefult to NOT use it on an uneven surfaces like camping site etc...

I bought these thinking they could hold a 5000lb truck. Drove up truck gently and they collapsed. May be good for small cars or something. 16,000lbs is false advertisement and is going to kill someone. They did take it back and I was refunded.

Shopping for ramps and reading the reviews here for the Rino 11912's and was surprised by the lower priceing at Auto Zone. But these are the higher capacity Rhino's which Auto Zone does not carry. AZ ramps are Rhino 11909 with lower capacity which Amazon also carries. It's only fare to compare apples to apples.

I had to change the oil in my front diff today, the bolt was seized and it needed drilling and a bolt extractor using. Using these ramps the job was a breeze.
I have a front receiver on my pickup that limits clearance at the front, I had no problem getting under the front end using these ramps.

These ramps are very light and easy to move around. You really can pickup a ramp with a single finger. The ramps stack one inside the other to take up less space. They feel strong. Not flex at all with my Tundra on them. Rock solid.

I bought some rubber floor mats along with these as others had complained the ramps would slide on concrete floors when driving up on to them. My floor is slick, but I did not need to use the floor mats. I suspect those having problems were not going slowly and steadily enough. My ramps did not budge an inch when driving up on them, and I have aggressive all terrain tires for use in my pastures.

See my pictures of my Toyota Tundra on the ramps.

I must say that I am very disappointed that higher ramps are not manufactured in general, but I can see where safety concerns could be an issue once the 10 inch height is passed. The Rhino ramps worked very well for me, I have 3 vehicles which are 2 SUVs and a AWD sports car and I will say that i was discouraged after reading some of the reviews on this page, but decided to take the chance anyway and I am happy that I did. I will agree that when the ramps first arrived, they appeared to be plastic wedges in which a kid would jump his/her radio controlled car off of, but I took a look at the design and concept of their build and constuction and decided to use with my 8,500 pound SUV and it worked as advertised.

Note, I do believe in safety and braced my jackstands under the frame but this is common sense and a well invested 2 extra minutes to mount! From the previous reviews, I read that the plastic makes cracking noises, I did notice a flexing noise when I was not on a totally flat surface, but on flat ground heard no noise. I also read reviews on the ramps popping forward, I did notice some movement, but where possible, if you have the ability to put your vehicle in 4 wheel drive mode, this helps in grabbing and a even distribution of force to push the vehicle up the ramps and for those who do not, I found parking the car and wedging the ramps between the tires and pavement helps a great deal, then you can slowly drive up the ramps.

One observation that I have noticed is that in colder weather the ramps, because they are essentially plastic, get very stiff and are not as flexible and forgiving if you are not on flat pavement or your tires are not 100% centered on the ramp, here is where you could have issues as described by the other reviewers.

Just purchased these ramps(16,000 GVW) at AutoZone for 44.00. Wow, never thought they would be nearly double that on Amazon. Anyway, ramps seem very sturdy and wide. I like the stackable feature, so they dont occupy as much space when stored. I have been looking for a good set of ramps for a while. I looked at harbor frieght, and these seem more durable/Sturdy and they were cheaper. Would definately recommend.
