2.0 out of 5 stars Strong case but pin breaks, July 22, 2003
By phil3650 (Lafayette, CA United States) - See all my reviews
The Rhino Ttanium case has saved my M515 several times, BUT...
The case has two design flaws:
1. The case is a little sloppy around the M515, just a little annoying.
2. The pin that holds the Palm goes inot the silo and eventually gets sloppy. You need to bend the pin to improve fit, but after the second slight "adjustment" IT BROKE OFF!! Now the case is useless since there is nothing to keep the Palm in the case.

5.0 out of 5 stars The toughest a palm get get, June 17, 2003
By ODB (USA) - See all my reviews
This is an improvemnet on the old rhinoskin V series "slider" case, which I had used for over a year before I lost it. This case is more streamlined that the old one, but with the same degree of protection.

titanium is the the king of industrial metal, and considering how important the data inside your palm pilot is, its worth it as insurance to yourself.

Cons- It is heavier than plastic or leather and not waterproof

If youre using a palm 505 or 515, you probably aren't into all the rinkydink bells and whistles and delicateness of newer palms, you use yours simply to carry your important numbers and schedules and info. This case is as minimalist and functional as the device it has been sent to protect.

5.0 out of 5 stars The RhinoSkin Titanium hardcase works great - no problems for me, July 23, 2006
I've used this RhinoSkin Titanium hardcase regularly and have had no problems.

I've been thoroughly satisfied with this. I use my palm extensively day-to-day in a previous job I had at work writing and organizing notes from contractors for my company in ongoing construction projects. I've been using this case since 2002.

This is actually the second RhinoSkin Titan hardcase I've purchased. I lost my previous palm pilot when I moved and had to purchase a replacement. So the decision was simple - purchase the same one that works great year after year.

The case works very well and I've even dropped it (by accident) and it protects my palm pilot.

One note, I keep this palm unit in a pant-leg pocket. I usually place a couple of business cards just behind the palm unit so the palm unit doesn't rattle inside as I walk everywhere. Two or three business cards removes the space and I've been doing this for years.

I've seen other cases for the palm, and even tried a leather case. I wouldn't go to any other case for my palm.

Another note - if you use the keyboard for the palm (I do regularly), you'll need to remove the palm unit from the case, not a hard task, but remove it briefly to set it on the keyboard unit.

I purchased mine through the Amazon vendor "XP Passport US Inc" and they shipped it accurately and quicker than anticipated.

Other contractors who see my case often ask about where they could get such a durable case - the product sells itself, especially in construction where you have to track data and keep it safe in a construction environment.
