From Publishers Weekly
Those sports-loving series heroes introduced in Rhinos Who Surf are back in Rhinos Who Play Soccer by Julie Mammano. "Kick-off begins with a bang!/ They zigzag all over the pitch." Readers are in for a wildly colorful game; the terminology is explained in a glossary labeled "Turf Talk."

From School Library Journal
Kindergarten-Grade 4-Seen snowboarding, skateboarding, and surfing in earlier books, the Rhinos now play soccer against the All Stars. The text is set in large, bold type and curves around the pictures to emphasize the action: "They LOFT PRIMO AIR-SHREDDING kicks," "go for a DIVING HEADER," and "TAKE IT ON THE GRILL." All soccer terms are described in the well-named glossary, "Turf Talk." As in the previous titles, the bright watercolor and colorfully patterned artwork carries the day. Sure to be a hit with young "footie" fans.
