Rhinotek compatible for Epson Stylus Photo 1270, T007201 Black Ink 1pk (RBE7201)

This ink caused me so much frustration! It was constantly clogging up. I wasted more color ink on prints that I had to throw away because the black ink cartridge was not working!

Epson has "defense" mechanism built into its printer so you won't want to use another company's ink! When the printer communicates with the ink "Chip" it sees it is not Epson and gives you a warning message.

In addition, I was mostly using my printer to print B&W documents. Yet, it still wasted all of my color ink due to the nozzle cleaning utility. It clogged a lot... but I don't know if that is due to the printer or Rhinotek...

My suggestions:
1) Buy Epson ink (There isn't a big cost difference)
2) Get a B&W Laser printer if you are printing alot of B&W documents
3) Use your Epson Photo 780 sparingly for printing Color

I bought the Rhinotek cartridges thinking I would save money. Wrong! I have had to clean the print heads almost every time I print (which is almost daily) and the ink didn't last near as long as the Epson cartridges. The couple of bucks I saved has certainly not been worth the time and energy I have to use every time I try to print anything. I will buy Epson next time.

The Rhinotek cartriges for all the desktop large format inkjet printer such as the Epson 2200, 1270, 1280, 2000P are excellent for proof printing. I'm a professional photographer and enjoy the savings on my printing. Eventhough Rhinotek inks are dye-based inks, I enjoy the large color gamut and virbrant results. Most of my mentors uses Rhinotek for their proof photo output. Rhinotek is a good selection plus they give you a real reason to buy from them! Save the rhino.

I saved money on these cartridges, and did not loose any quality, and they lasted longer, Go Rhinotek.

The black ink cartridge needed cleaning almost every 5-10 pages printed. Waste of ink! Although, the color cartridge works just perfectly.

Since installing the Rhinotek cartridge I've used up half the ink by repeatedly cleaning the heads. A waste of time and money.

Finally, I can save money on my inkjet cartridge's without sacrificing quality. The print quality is superb and I get a much higher page count than the Epson. Thanks, RHINOTEK.
