Men came already broken.

These things are brittle and microscopic tiny and the plastic mold they were made in had many gaps because there are a lot of plastic burrs around the seams!

These are garbage, don't waste your money!

Not exactly the army men I had growing up. I recall them being made a little better. My goodness, how do you make cheap plastic? Must take a real engineer.
This stuff is fairly brittle, breaks, guns come off etc. But what is really disappointing is that the characters molds lack detail. It seems many of them were over filled with plastic so they lost some cripness, and have extra plastic oozing out at places. One other downside, is that there are not that many different types of molds/men. I recall several different ones as a kid, I think this pack has 5 different types, maybe 6 at most. INTERESTING: I just looked at the official image, and they represent the men I had as a kid. Now look at the pic posted by a customer--this is what these men actually look like. You will see that there are just a few kinds, and the molds have oozed a bit.
What happened to the guy crawling? The flame thrower? :)
Guess they just don't make things like they used too. Not even plastic junk.

That said, my kids LOVE EM!!!
Play non-stop with them and want more. Set up battles on the floor, in the kitchen, the hall, the living room, the backyard sandbox, and this week on the sand castles at the beach.

I wonder if 30 years from now they will think the ones they buy for their kids are even worse?

I ordered these expecting them to be pretty low quality, which was fine, as I only needed them for a birthday party pinata. But even my low expectations were not met. The bags arrived full of at least as many broken bits of green plastic as actual "army men" and, as other reviewers note, the few unbroken ones were mostly all the same position (if you could even make out a "position") with no features/details; just a lump of rough-hewn plastic that literally crumbles when picked up. (No, really, they crumble if you try to hold/play with them.) What you're buying here is basically a big bag of green plastic. No fun. Just junk.

My son is having a Toy Story themed party and I wanted these for party favors, but they are horrible. They don't look anything like what is pictured. I'll be going to the toy store to get new toy soldiers as I cannot give these to kids. They lack definition and most of them look as if the soldier was run over in the middle. Plus the plastic is surprisingly cheap for plastic. I would return them, but it will cost almost as much in shipping to return as they cost me originally.

This product was a ripoff. My twelve year old wanted to get something for her brother that was special. She could have gone to the dollar store. The items are tiny. Cannot believe they get away with this.

I was expecting better quality than these! They were very rough like the plastic oozed out of the molds during manufacturing and then they weren't ever put through any kind of finishing process. I would be embarrassed to give these as a gift so I had to return them. Very poor quality.

These are not what is pictured above. The plastic is of very poor quality, the detail is not there, and there were broken pieces in the pack.

A few of the pieces were a bit disfigured and don't stand well. Coulda liked some more variety, but worked just fine for the kids nonetheless.

These are your typical green army men to set up with the kids and destroy your enemies. They are a lot of fun. If you step on one and break it, no worries, there are 139 more soldiers to take the place of a fallen soldier.
