The sword was cheap and I guess you get what you pay for. The handle isn't very durable and was broken when we received it.

My five year old son seems to enjoy this pirate sword. I think it's a bit flimsy, but fine for the price.

I ordered five of these for a pirate-themed party for a grown-up, and everyone had fun posing with these swords. They came individually wrapped and had a sturdy handle of rigid plastic, and a softer hollow plastic blade that wasn't flimsy either.
Would recommend!
