I priced Treasure Chests all over the internet and this was the cheapest one for its size. There were no instructions to put it together, but it was easy to figure out. You will have to use packing tape to get it to stay together, but as long as you are using it for a prize box or something similar, it should hold nicely. Don't expect to give it to a child to play with, because it will not last long in that case.

Really not worth the money. It doesn't fit together well at all. The lid doesn't close on the box and it wouldn't stay glued togeter for even 2 minutes. Junk!

What a piece of junk ! Firstly, there are no instructions for assembly included. The graphics on the cardboard are nice. The box itself is fairly strong, but unless you put it together correctly (I had to use scotch tape to hold it together) it's not all that good. Only 2 tabs to fit into 2 slots, and one of them kept popping loose. I definitely would not recommend this to anyone to buy.

I wish I had read the reviews before I bought this cardboard box! Not worth the price! It is only worth about $1. You will need your own tape to hold together because the design doesn't stay together by itself.

I don't know what others are complaining about, I LOVED this for my sons pirate party. Its only 3$ so I didn't expect much and yes you do have to give it some glue for extra support if you plan on using it for anything other then a decoration but I found it very easy to put together and it served its purpose very well.

I rarely write reviews, but i felt I needed to comment on this item to help others avoid making the same mistake that I made. This was a flimsy cardboard little piece of junk. I purchased it to use to give out Halloween candy since I was dressed as a pirate. It was so small and pathetic that I couldn't even use it. Total waste of money!!

i wouldnt use the term 'hate' when it comes to this product. althought it is a flimsy peice of cardbord. not worth the price and was kinda dissapointed... im sure i could have tweaked it to make it work but i didnt pay for something i have to 'tweek to make work' so i sent it back

I bought this as a gift for my neighbor as he is a huge pirate fan. I was going to use this as the "wrapping" for his pirate gift. I knew that is would come flat packed and that I would have to put it together myself, which is fine and I am perfectly capable of putting a card board box together. The problem is that nothing holds in place. You put all the pieces where they are supposed to be and it just pops right out. I ended up having to take packing tape and wrap the entire thing in it just to get it to hold together. It looked terrible. I wasn't able to use and it and ended up throwing it in the trash.

Don't waste your money!

I bought this as a gift box to go with a boat bed. it still sits on the bed as a treasure chest. It was the perfect gift box for a treasure hunt

i used this item more as a gift box then as a toy. i filled it with toys and candy, in a pirate them gift i was giving. i did have to use some take and glue to get it to stay together. it is easy to put together even though it does not come with drect. i wouldnt really use it for a toy chest more so a gift box or to hold light weight things in. its not that big but worked great for me.
