The pages are sturdy and bright. The binding is solid. The cover is scored across the top at three locations corresponding to where it will crease when one opens the pad's cover and bends it all the way against the pad's back--a much better solution than a spiral binding, in my opinion. I find graph paper to be great for everything from journaling to sketching designs. I find the 6" x 8" format--which is actually 5.8" x 8.3" (i.e., an A5 sheet of paper)--a nice size for a note-taking pad. I wish the graph lines were perhaps printed a bit lighter.

I recently bought this pad for the calligraphy class. This Rhodia paper is heavy enough with nice quality. I compared this with other graph papers and found huge differences. First of all, it holds up the sumi ink so well that it hardly bleed even for the beginner. Second, this paper is thick enough to be used for both sides when writing with the ink. Lastly, it is very smooth to let the pen tip to glide over without picking up any fiber. I would say it definitely live up with the hype and worth the price. Recommend it!

This is a great notepad. Rhodia puts a lot of thought into the design of their notebooks, and this one is no exception.
Things I liked:
- Paper is solid
- The crease on the top allows you to use ALL the pages, unlike most fold over notebooks where the back pages are hard to use because of the way the pages fold over
- All pages perforated is a huge plus.
The only "negative" I'd have, is that the graph/grid got in the way and added a lot of noise to what I'd write on the page. If you're looking for the ability to have grids without the lines you don't need, look into the dot grid pads instead.

The grid is so nice for organizing ideas. I love the size. It's a bit bigger than a junior legal pad, but it is still a nice portable size. The paper is also very smooth, and my inky pens don't run on the paper, like they do on some of the cheaper recylced papers.

This is the perfect size and the paper and quality is excellent. I use it all the time for writing letters, notes, to do lists, and even sketching. Love it.
