I was so happy to find this on Amazon cuz I thought it was out of print! I listened to this as a child til the needle on the ol' turn table was dull. Classic xmas tunes with a lot of soul. Perfect for parties or just feeling good in the middle of the holidaze.

Several familiar oldies, November 3, 2009

This was the first in a series of four CDs in the series. They played it safe and included some familiar tracks. There's 14 songs in all, including:
Just A Lonely Christmas - The Moonglows
Run Rudolph Run - Chuck Berry
Hey Santa Claus - The Moonglows
The Bells of St. Mary's - Lee Andrews & The Hearts
What Are You Doing New Year's Eve - The Orioles
Winter Wonderland - Patti Labelle and the BlueBelles
It's Christmas Once Again - Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers
Chuck Berry also sings Merry Christmas Baby on this disc. A lot of these are heard on the radio during the holidays. It's nice to have them on one CD. Definitely worth getting if you don't have the songs already.
