This compilation represents some of the better songwriting morsels Elvis ever sank his teeth into -- a career-spanning concentration of rhythm and blues perfectly suited to his talent. With 400-some Elvis titles in print (thanks to the overkill of RCA) it's actually tough to find solid evidence of his greatness. This CD, along with the Sun Sessions, Golden Records and From Elvis in Memphis titles, provides a powerful and succinct overview of Elvis.
