I never thought it would be possible for Mattafix to top "Signs of a Struggle" but they did. If you enjoyed their first album then you'll LOVE this one.

Never thought they could top their first album "Signs of a struggle" but they could and did. This is one of the best albums I have heard in years. My only question is why have they not made it bigger in the U.S.?

Mattafix has done it again with their new album...Rythms and Hymns. I stumbled upon this group a couple years ago after hearing the song "big city life" on a video game (FIFA 07). That song is on this album as well as their last (Signs of a Struggle). What you will find from this group is some mind shattering beats and rythms that blend all instruments into a groove that cannot be duplicated. I would recommend this album and their first on their beats alone however what puts Mattafix in a category by themselves are their brutally honest lyrics that blend (as stated in track 10) "ruffneck elements with eloquence". They are not shy to talk about what is really happening in politics or in the world but also offer intimate glimpses of their own struggles in life and relationships. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND this album to anyone who has a love for music in general or that is looking for the tighest beats around. Either way you will not be dissapointed. I love this album...i love this group...If you buy this album you must buy Signs of a Struggle as well. This album is excellent however i am still partial to their first!

Never could i not stop playing it in my car,i boght both ablums and never regretted others who have listened it said its very nice.Only problem is i can find it in stores in the U.S.

This group is one of a kind. You really can not find another group out there that can match the upbeat swagger that this group caries!!!! I have only heard two of the tracks on this album and let me just say that I have listened to their first album (Signs of a Struggle) hundreds of times "no lie" hahaha and I'm sure that from what I have heard so far from this album I will be doing the same yet again!!!! Thoroughly pleased!!!!!!!

I don't understand why Mattafix so unknown in the USA. This album is amazing! So is Signs of a Struggle. Buy them both. You will be glad you did!
