Although the Cascades really only had one big hit with "Rhythm of the Rain", this entire album is great. Their vocal harmony is fantastic and the songs are just really nice. I've enjoyed this album for years and have just replaced it with a CD. Now the sound is fresher, more crisp and clear. Incredible! What I like best about this CD is you can sing along with just about every song on it - much like an early Beatles album. The other thing I really like is that every song is good, not just a couple like most CD's have. A great album. Be sure to get this if you like harmony such as DooWop and the Four Freshmen style of music.

This is a re-issue of the classic 1963 album "Rhythm of the rain" by the Cascades.
It contains the exact 12 songs of original recordings as the original 1963 vinyl l.p. does.
And of course looks just the same as it originally did.

This is complete listening pleasure.
The Cascades are mostly known for there major hit "Rhythm of the rain"
but that same classic sound is continued through out the entire album.
There are certain albums that are just plain timeless, and a staple of the era.
To me THIS is one of those albums!

This album has always been a favorite that I've never grown tired of.
It's wonderful now to have the convience of this classic album on c.d.!

You've got to be 50+ to remember these guys. And Rhythm of the Rain is their classic 1963 hit. I got it for Last Leaf. think it was Rain flip side. Worth getting for west coast harmonies before Beachboys and Mamas and Papas were established.

An early 60s pop vocal group known for little beyond their one big hit, the classic "Rhythm Of The Rain," (which was actually penned by the group's lead singer), the Cascades are one of the more solid-sounding and enjoyable of the many early-rock era vocal groups not to make it big. If you're an Everly Brothers fan, the Cascades offer up a nice set of the typical early 60s love and heartbreak songs that have the same sunny, easygoing feel that made the Everlys famous, including a lead singer (John Gummoe), who sounds strikingly similar, and a nice backdrop of organs and soft guitars.

This is an oldies album but one of the best. I've been listening to it
since I got it. I have the cassette version, but most cars don't have those
anymore so this CD helps a lot, other friends liked it too.
I think the Cascades have the best listening music.
Get one you won't regret it!

For those who enjoy "oldies" and for just about anyone who enjoys "real" music, here's one you'll enjoy! Most of their music were "hits" to me. I do not have just one favorite hit. I think the whole CD was and still is enjoyable to listen to anytime.

Gave as a birthday gift to my supervisor. She loves it very much and said her favorite group.She's been looking in the stores but can't find, told her only on Amazon.com you can find anything what you like.

I actually bought the CD for the title song which was good because none of the others were big hits although some were quite nice and representative of the 60s sound.

This s a good CD if you like these guys. they were a little too sweety for me but a few of their songs were good. Overall a nice CD to have in the collection for the occasional listen.
