Hot Latin POP dance music for International Latin Ballroom dancing
Love this CD. From its cover to its content, this CD is hot. I never heard any of these tracks before, they all seem new, and they are all good. Love samba's and cha cha's, they are awesome, nice romantic rumba and feet kicking jives. This CD is definitely worth buying.

Not a modern Latin dance CD
Do not buy this if you want to hear modern, sexy, dance music. It's old-fashioned!

As reviewed by "Dance Today" in England
The next product, Rhythm Latino, is produced in the US by Melody Entertainment Inc and features 20 tracks. The first ten cover the cha cha cha, samba, rumba and jive twice each, plus an additional cha cha and samba, all with vacals. The ten tracks that follow are the same tunes but minus the vocals, described as Practice Session Instrumental versions.
The sleeve states that these offerings are all original music for Latin American dance Sport. They are indeed all new songs recorded by American artists and musicians specifically for dance competitions and rehearsal. I found them all appealing and, as they were not heard before, they were very interesting to listen to and to dance to. What is certainly valuable in the inclusion of those practice tracks. Being instrumental they are so much better than just dancing to the rhythm, which can be a little soulless and rather mechanical. Here you have concentrated rhythm but enough instrumentation to give the possibility of personal musical expression and development. For all who like Latin dance music, excellent tempo, bright and attractive singing and good orchestrations, there is plenty here to enjoy. (Visit [...] to preview the CD or buy it)
