5.0 out of 5 stars music that makes a positive impact
I bought this cd without listening to it first. I wanted to buy something from a interesting shop where I had a long conversation with the owner. music can inspire and help me achieve my goals in life and I took a chance with this cd. I bought this cd without listening to it first. I wanted to buy something from a interesting shop where I had a long conversation with the owner. music can inspire and help me achieve my goals in life and I took a chance with this cd. It turns out to be different than all the other new age cds i have but similar to things i've heard in some ways too. the sounds are interesing through out especially on shades of grey. the cover art and titles to the songs add meaning to it also. i'll admit it's true that the cd was released again with a different title metro lounge with different cover art. im sure this is a sales strategy and im not sure if its a good thing or bad but also worth mentioning is the musicians name is not seen anywhere on the cd but only inside and it's not specific what instruments are used etc but that's not necessarily a bad thing. im a painter myself and i know that illustrators and artists sometimes don't get recognized that much by name but the work is what counts in some cases. the musician david lyndon huff doesnt seem to have a website or contact info i can find easily otherwise i would like to have personally wrote to him how much his music has had an impact on me. with these songs you can relax and even improve your breathing. tracks like watching the world go by and this place sound more urban or r&b to me which im not always in the mood for but overall i feel this album deserves 5 stars.
