Editorial Reviews

A video in support of the Rhythms Compliance Program. Pfizer's Rhythms program for depression was singled out for increasing community and employer awareness of depression, providing education and follow-up for patients and offering important tools for health care providers. Rhythms is a 28 week compliance program, based on The Agency for Health Care Policy and Research (AHCPR) Clinical Practice Guideline, and phase-matched to the patients' stage of antidepressant treatment. The Rhythms Compliance Program is a patient assistance program and is intended to support and reinforce instructions to depressed patients. This video is recommended for viewing soon after treatment initiation, although the video is suited for patients at any stage who want to learn more about depression. The Rhythms video answers many patient questions about depression and antidepressants, encourages patients to fill their prescription and comply with their treatment regimen, and offers stories from other patients who have successfully battled depression.
