These lights are superior to their larger counterparts for reasons I'm not quite sure of. These seemed brighter and I never had any issues with the batteries or the compartment. Like I said in another review, the seller really made this transaction great. They were very timely and offered to ship my lights very quick for no charge. Definitely recommend both the seller and the lights, especially for the price. Keep in mind the title "ribbon", as the physical light rope very much resembles a ribbon. I liked it, and it has a very cool shine that would be good for certain costumes and decorations.

This is one of the brightest products this company sells (yes, brighter than White; yes, brighter than the longer version of the rope)

It's battery compartments can be a little flimsy, but until something happens its performance is excellent!

This ribbon light is quite bright and works great. Rechargeable batteries make it painless to use. We have used it to decorate the car for a while, then brought it to a hotel we stayed at to brighten up, used it near Christmas by moving it around the house, and now put it around some candles to light up that spot. Every few weeks we move it and it's fresh and fun! I even wore it on New Year's Eve. The ribbon makes it look nicer and more upscale than those plain plastic rope lights.

We needed something battery operated to light up our mailbox so we could see our driveway in the country at night. Works great. Batteries last a very long time. Battery operated lights are very hard to find and I am glad I found these ribbon lights.
