I've got serious ADHD, and when i'm studying, it really helps (as odd as this sounds) to have as much colors on the page as possible. (methyphenidate 20 mg three times a day helps me study too, but that's beside the point...) Beside the pink pen - which is more of a bubble gum pink than a usable pink, I use these pens every day to write my notes. They write smoothly, the colors are wonderful (orange and green are my favorites, and pink isn't awesome but it's good to underline things - it's otherwise too bright to be able to read on white paper) and they don't smudge. I'm left-handed, and with other pens I end up with a small ink tattoo of all the inks i've used in a day. These pens dry quickly and thus are minimal smudging pens, and I don't have to scrub my hands for twenty minutes when I get home.

I know no one else cares about pens as much as I do, but I'm picky- so when I recommend these pens, it's with every nonstriated fiber of my beating heart. Ally, doctoral student in Philly

I use these pens in a planner that I created using a Moleskine blank paged book. The Uni-ball pens are the best pens I have found to use because the ink dries quickly. I can write in the Moleskine book and close it and the ink doesn't bleed on other pages. I enjoy tracking things in color and these pens really make my planner more interesting and fun. Also, if my planner gets wet, I know that the ink won't bleed everywhere because that has happened.

The place I work has these pens, and I literally wrote down the brand so I could come home and order them. They write like a dream, they don't bleed through, and the colours are really fun to write with--I feel like it's Easter everyday. Oh, and they don't do that thing where you have to turn your pen a certain way to get the ink to flow correctly, which is a big relief for someone who holds writing utensils in an abnormal fashion. I'm that person who stands in the pen isle of Office Depot for twenty minutes before finding something suitable, so you can trust me. They're pricey, but they're also NICEY (that's right).

I like to draw using colored pens. These pens are the best I have ever come across. They look wonderful and they are fun to use. I almost never write reviews but, simply put, I love these pens.

5-Stars. Highly recommended.

These are great pens. They have all the features I look for in a pen: gel ink, various colors, ease & comfort of use, and they're "clicky." The only reason that I give them 4 stars is because of few of them have taken a while to "warm up" to use; they seem to get better as I go, but they're not functioning at 100% from the get-go. I've used three colors so far: black, blue, and light blue. I've used the light blue while grading papers over the last couple of days, and the gel doesn't flow quite as freely as I'd like it to; I'm hoping it'll improve. The black had a bit of the same difficulty, being hesitant to release ink when I wrote in a certain direction (eg, on the left half of letters, etc). The darker blue showed none of these difficulties and works like a charm. And yes, the ink dries quickly enough that it won't get on your hands, which is such a pain with normal pens.

I'm hoping that with a bit of use, these pens will all work wonderfully, as I'm sure from the other reviews they will. I already went out and purchased another set of the same pens in all black. :)

I read some of the reviews and had doubts as to not ordering. Reason being some users (other Gel Pen products) had trouble with some of the pens relating to them not working. Since I had used a Stick Gel pen prior (A Gift) I ordered them anyway. Right out of the package the first color, light blue failed to work even after scribbling. I then picked out another color and I noticed that it too failed to work. I took out the third and placed it to the paper (on and angle) and noticed that as I did, a small speck came off of the tip of the pen and it began to write perfectly. I switched back to the 1st and 2nd gel pens that failed to work and saw it too had a protective tip. I put it to paper, it came off and both wrote nicely as well as the remainder of the pack of eight (8) Gel pens. Nice colors and flows easy as I write.

I decided to test them on a wet damp surface of copy paper and to my amazement it worked, legibly with a skip as I wrote. This was just to see if it could write on a wet surface. It will smear lightly if immediately brushed after writing over it on the wet surface otherwise it dries fast not too... Once it dries it will not and I find that very useful.

As for using on documents, it performs well and I recommend the Uni -Ball Gel 207 pen eight pack multi colors. It's a great writing instrument.

these pens just don't write as well. The ink, while it doesn't smudge seems to have a watery, less even texture when writing. They're not bad pens, but they aren't the quality that I've come to expect from the blue/black Uniball 207 micro pens. As another reviewer mentioned, the pink pen really isn't too useful as it is too bright to read on the page. I bought these pens for correcting and the orange/green are my favorites for this purpose. Oh well.
