purchase if you like unique european decorating tips
The author regularly works with fashion and interior designers. If you need fresh ideas on how to use ribbons and trim check out the 1st 55 pages. The choices of mixture in colors and fabrics are definitely unique. I would not consider her designs mainstream America however if you are looking for unusual ways to decorate your home artistically this is the book for you...

Not worth the money...
Save your money. The only "cute" project is the chair featured on the front cover.

The author regularly works with fashion and interior designers. If you need fresh ideas on how to use ribbons and trim check out the 1st 55 pages. The choices of mixture in colors and fabrics are definitely unique. I would not consider her designs mainstream America however if you are looking for unusual ways to decorate your home artistically this is the book for you. The ideas she comes up with what to do with ribbon and trim and where to use them in your home are definitely out of the box. Such as, around the fireplace mantle, next to crown molding, under chair railing, on benches, as a paint design on walls and on stairwalk carpeting. She is very creative with doorstops, laundry baskets, towels, table lamps pillows, curtains, drapes and tiebacks.

If you want to give your house a Fun look and environment this book is great for ideas and they can just be a helpful way of getting you to think about other things you can do yourself to make it all suit your space...
