3.0 out of 5 stars Good "Little" Garment bag, November 3, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
PROS: Durable fabric and construction (the airline was unable to break or tear this one)
CONS: Small (would be ok for a three day trip if you're not a clothes junkie - which I am not), shoes do not fit in the shoe pockets (and I don't have big feet), Sturdy zipper is TOO HARD TO ZIP past beginning flap even when empty. The handle mechanism takes up much of the apparent interior space. The garment section flap has nice pockets which could not be use because of the interior space limitations. NOT AS ADVERTISED - not emerald green and NOT a FREE WHEELER! NOT LITE - Is heavier than it looks.. using up more than 1/4 of your permitted weight even before your pack!

I ordered this garment bag for a ten day business trip. Initial disappointment came when I got it and it is not as it was described. This case IS NOT a "FREE WHEELER" as it is advertised. That feature was one of the main reasons that I picked this one! It is not emerald green either. I would call in hunter green. I go for the unusual colors so that I can spot my bag quickly at baggage claim. This green is nearly black. It arrived just before I needed to leave for the trip, so there was no time to return it. My case I previously had was broken by the airlines so I had no choice. Then there came the packing. This case is SMALL and in no way able to accommodate anything more than a few days and if you need to change clothes more than once each day, better take along another case. While packing it makes you think you can get a lot in, but when it comes time for folding and the zipper, you'll be unpacking and trying to decide what you can afford to leave behind. With the airlines charging you for EVERY BAG YOU CHECK, I really was trying to only have one bag. Three suits is all this would handle and a two light weight pants and a few blouses folded and tucked tight into the corners. I packed some of my overflow into my computer case carry-on (matching case that I purchased which is also too small). After my first conference I decided to mail two of my suits back in a box before going on to the second event, as I could not get it all back in. On the second half of the trip I bought 2 books and a coffee cup...oops. Really had to work at rolling my clothes to compress them as tight as I could for the return trip. There for a minute I thought I was going to have to wear layers to get everything home. My carryon bag was flowing over all the way.
