I bought this because I was flying to NY for a 5 day trip and didn't have a carry-on. It held so much! I wasn't sure of the weather so I packed clothes for warm and cool weather,3 pairs of sandals, books,and lots of other things. I had room to spare. Fits just fine in the overhead compartment, didn't have to wedge it in like others were doing. I love the bright red color and it moves freely on its wheels. I am very happy with this purchase. Roomy, tough, little bag.

I bought the 21" carry on luggage. I preferred to buy it from the Ricardo Beverly Hills coz my husband has one from the same manufacturer and he is very happy with the purchase. He is traveling most of the time and the carry on holds all he needs for his 4-5 days trip.I am an international traveler too and need luggage which is light weight and can withstand rough handling. I think that this luggage will not let me down.I love its color and the two compartment style. Its been only one week that I have received this item and so far I like it.

In addition to being attractive, well-made, relatively light weight, and easy to pull, the flexible two-compartment design used for this suitcase is awesome. For the business traveler, you can pack your dress shirts on their hangers in the top section and have them arrive needing little or no pressing -- and they are ready to hang up to keep them that way. A zippered compartment also holds socks and underwear. Plenty of room in the bottom section for slacks, toiletries, and a second jacket. For the leisure traveler, the flexible separation between the compartments allows the suitcase to adapt to your needs. I've had a larger Ricardo model with this design for 7 years, and was thrilled when I found it was available on a carry-on model. By the way, my older case is still in use and still going strong, so I expect this one to hold up well.

The overall measurements that come attached to the luggage are 21"W X 14"H X 10"D. However, on Ricardo Beverly Hills' website and on Amazon.com, it is listed the dimensions are 21"W X 14"H X 8.5"D. I bought this for my carry-on on a Delta flight. Delta's limit on the size of carry-on luggage is 22"W X 14"H X 9"D. The good news is the luggage will "smoosh" down between 9" - 9.5".

Outside of the sizing issue, the luggage seems very well built and I am pleased with the quality of the unit. Now, hopefully Delta will deem it appropriate for a carry-on.

**June 21, 2011 Update**

After speaking with Delta's customer "support" in India, and I use support very loosely, concerning the size of the bags, I just decided to head to the airport to place the luggage in Delta's baggage check to see if it would fit. On the positive side, it did JUST fit inside the baggage check. It sticks out about 1" on the top, but they said that was fine. However, there is absolutely NO way if you pack it full and use the top expansion for it to fit; you will most likely have to check it and pay $25.00 each way for it.

I've taken this carry-on roller on several trips, and think it is a good deal for the money. It is very light weight, and the wheels and handle seem high quality. I don't use all of the zipper compartments, but it definitely holds enough for a long weekend and/or lightly packed week long trip. I'll be looking for it's big brother once my larger suitcase wears out!

This suitcase is great! I just used it on a two week trip to California. Very sturdy, well designed and it does not look
like a cheap suitcase. My one issue with this bag is that if you fill it up all the way and fill the front compartments it will NOT fit in the overhead bin on some airlines. I left the front empty, and didn't fill the bag up all the way from the inside. It squished down which allowed it to fit in the overhead bin. American Airlines made me check the size before I got on the plane, and it barely fit on Continental/United. If you are checking it, then who cares, stuff the bag to its brink. I highly recommend this bag for travel!

This suitcase has been great for me! Being a college student, I needed a bag that I didn't have to check when flying. This is great, it holds so much! The zippers are heavy-duty so I feel like it holds up really well. For one long weekend, I was able to fit a pillow, two towels and clothes along with 2 pairs of sandals and toiletries! The two-compartment design is great for separating dirty clothes with leftover clean ones. I definitely recommend this instead of those "cheapies" that you can find at superstores.

I have carried Ricardo of Beverly Hills for 15 years. I wanted to update my carryons and purchased one for me and one for my daughter. The handle broke after the 2nd use. I am so disappointed and now have two other of the same model that I am afraid to use. I have never had a problem with my other pieces that are much older. I think it may be a design flaw. Now I'm stuck with this. Do not buy this model.
