5.0 out of 5 stars Patience is a virtue
Reading any book by an author who is not native to American shores requires a certain amount of perspective. Keating's book is quite intriguing and enjoyable, if you can keep in mind that all literature does not revolve around the United States.

1.0 out of 5 stars Lousy
As if the short, clipped, incomplete sentences weren't enough, this book is full of incomprehensible British slang such as: poncy git; obbo; and bint. But the best one of all is "pussy." It apparently means an old woman, but obviously has a different meaning in America. I finished this book because I always finish what I start, but I won't read any more...
