I've read all the success books,Stephen Covey,Zig Zigler,Tony Robbins,I could go on and on,they were all exiteing to read,there was only one problem,if you've read them,you know what I'm talking about,the exitement always turns to dispair when the formula fails,If you want to know why,if you want to sit back and watch a higher power come and kick the crap out of all your problems and fears,start with this book then read everything you can get your hands on by Guy Finely and Vernon Howard.It takes time,but with this formula,you can, experience true magic.Forget the bad reviews,those people had the secret of life in their hands and diden't even know it.

After reading the previous reviews, it seems that several people misunderstood the messages in this book. Ken Roberts wasn't talking commodities or giving you a clear-cut road map to wealth, he provided you with a foundation to build off of, "Take the first step, no more, no less, and the next one will be revealed." If you don't try, if you never take that first step, you will never know what awaits you. This book is well written and worth it's weight in gold, remember it's a foundation that can be applied to almost any decision in life. You can't get rich by reading a book, but you can extract the messages given and apply what you like to your life in an attempt to improve your life style and perhaps the end result may be personal wealth through all the knowledge you have acquired. Good luck, this book is a great tool to add in your box for success.

Easy to read and thoroughly absorbing from start to finish. If you are a "seeker" of a better you, it is a MUST READ. The ideas that "you are not your thoughts" and that by bringing yourself to the present ("now") allows the "spirit" (my interpretation) to whisper truths to you have made a significant impact on the way I behave. It has payed great dividends for me in my personal life and business. How could I not have know this already? I have questioned this many times and I can't answer it except that I read it at the right time in my life. Maybe its the right time in your life too. Try it and good luck!!! Read it several times...I continue to read and re-read it.

I have just finished reading this book and would like to make a few comments. I believe the message that Ken Roberts is trying to get across is a very important one - do not let negative thoughts and emotional urges cloud your thinking and actions.

However, emotions are an important facet and make-up of our existence - to have emotions is to experience life.

In esssence, Roberts' philosophy is not a message of total zombie-like emotionless existence, but that we should, and as a result of trying to control our thoughts and actions, especially those that impact negatively, would live life with greater awareness and in turn, prosperity. We would view life and its events from "higher level" where the truth is always revealed. That is, watch, don't react and learn, and the next action to take will always be the right action.

Make sense?

In essence, it is all about "leaving your thoughts behind". Roberts' message is an important one, but there are many other factors just as vital to achieving happiness, wisdom and prosperity, which really, is a result of the former.

In all, a good read that was recieved warmly and understood.

I found this book to be very helpful in adjusting my attitude about many things including money. Of course it we be of no use to people who are just looking for a "quick-fix". If you realy want to benefit your life by following its simple principles, this is a great book! It's obvious to me that those who don't enjoy this book have closed their mind to true self-improvement.

This book is a book about the power of the mind to create your future destiny. It is a guide to the destructive nature of the concious mind to focus on all that is bad, about the past and the "possible" future.

Ken Roberts tells an enthrauling story, interwoven within the story are the keys to how to use your mind, for future success. You will find that the entire message is summed up within one of the chapters. The rest is just padding to create a story. The message is simple, keep your mind focused on the NOW, but the practical application of this message will prove difficult for the beginner in success.

As the application of this book may prove difficult, I must suggest that the student of this book reads Psyco Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz. This book will teach the student about mind control, and it's role in creating success.

This book is an intresting read, the message is worth knowing, but further study of mind control is needed to achieve what Ken Roberts suggests. So beware, while this book is intresting, it may not be for the beginner, on the road to success. It maybe just a little to esoteric, for a begginers' understanding.

The reader from New Jersey on October 5th obviously did not read "A Rich Man's Secret". This book is not about commodity trading. It is about not letting negative thoughts or people affect your journey through life. I read this book three years ago and it has served me well. I hope the reader from New Jersey reads this book some day, it sounds like he needs the good advice.

I have read all the reviews written about this book so far and find that all the negative comments about this book appear to be based on preconcieved notions and opinions, about the author, rather than the merits of the central message of this Book. In my opinion this Book helps you understand the real secret of Success in all your endeavours in Life,and not just confined to wealth building strategies. The Central Theme of this book will change your Life as it did mine,if you let it.This is an excellent book,easy to understand, and read and comprehend, but it will require constant vigil and effort to put in action, what is revealed in this Book. But if one persists, the effort will be well worth it. I highly recommend this Book to any one with open mind seeking a better Life.

This book really left me feeling that there was more to "our" lives than just waking up everyday and doing the same old thing, without noticing what is truely important and what we do take for granted. Living life is more than wanting "money" to make our life better. Money isn't what makes life better. "Now Is How" is the ticket, grab the book, find a quiet place, lock the door, bolt it, padlock it, don't let anyone in, until you finish it. Great book , wish there was a continuing story to find out if Victor applied his new "wealth" to see if it really made his life better. But this is a great read. Buy it, you won't be sorry. It's a treasure hunt, great detective story all rolled up into Life's Philosophy, and thensome. You won't regret the money you spend if you truely open you heart & soul to what he is saying to all of humanity. It's a great read! What are you waiting for, order the book. One thing more, don't expect to find a secret to making money, this isn't the book. Just "open your eyes, heart & mind"

I've read every how-to book on personal success ever written (well, maybe not every book but plenty of them) but none have grabbed me like this book did. It may read like a novel, but it's really a powerful message about how to live your life, delivered in an entertaining way. I hope Ken Roberts writes more books like this one!
