on this release herod,a buffalo gem, incorporates the vocal stylings of one of our fair citys finest vocalists.jason russo, jason is an icon.though his work here is tight and adds a certain different style to herod, you can not fully appreciate his awesome voice until you listen to his maturization through age and wisdom.listen to darkling...metal reborn,or...

1.0 out of 5 stars Some metal just doesn't make it!!
I read a few reviews about this band and they sounded positive. Not what I had hoped for. This band just doesn't get it done. The music is second rate metal and the singer is boring. That's why you can get this CD for $1 brand new. This ones going to the local scrapyard!!

occasionally the new guy is restricted by the already recorded bands desires.
if this is the case, then maybe he was not able to integrate his stylings ,and might be the reason he left the band, after one release.
sound logical?
in my estimation, this is good work by this band.a band chock full of talent.jason has an amazing range,a young halford,or ripper owens.
"All Night" gives a flavoring of his talent and the rythm lines and driving guitar work defines metal."Broken Promises" can not be denied as a heck of a fine piece of metal work.
rethink ,this is what metal is!!!!
do not hesitate buying it,and i can not find it for a buck....anywhere.....
