Bob is a captive of nostalgia recording a remarkably unconventional and unpredictable life through the last century. He has traveled surviving uniquely gripping circumstances. Although a Christian, Bob's fans include: Buddhist priests and Jewish and Muslim scholars.
Bob retired as a counselor in 1991. He lives in Bellevue, Washington with his wife Seiko. He has coached students in creative writing, drama, sports and edited student publications as well as helping sponsor a variety of mental health activities and prison workshops.
