This is a landmark CD thanks to the efforts of Warren Cohen. I
am sure with the present era of market forces it must have been an up hill challenge to produce. The 4th and 5th symphonies are recorded for the first time some 50 years since since Arnell wore the 5th symphony. Two impressive and lasting 20th century symphonies. Arnell's symphony's have been long neglected for reasons of fashion and bigoted view points in the last 5 decades. But anyone with a love of individual and stunning symphonic music needs very much to get this and then listen to more of Arnells music. Highly recommended for the soul.
