A good starting point to an eventful and entertaining series,

This review is from: Richard Bolitho-Midshipman (Library Binding)
Richard Bolitho - Midshipman sets the stage for all of therest of the novels. We are first introduced to some of the characters we eventualy get to know and love. One of my only complaints about the book is the fact that it is so short, but then it was written as a juvenile. I have given it to my 11 year old son to read, and he also finds it a great yarn. Full of action, with a young hero he can identify with. I wish I had read it when I was his age.
