Editorial Reviews

From Publishers Weekly

The accordion-fold paper-over-board pages of Richard Scarry's Busiest Busytown Ever! open to create a seven-foot-long street. The little pictures show dense simultaneous action, as a truck delivers mail, children walk home from school and a reporter chases a fire engine. Numerous flaps reveal other animal citizens napping, practicing ballet, drinking coffee and engaging in other activities of an ordinary day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hours of small child entertainment, June 13, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Richard Scarry'S Busiest Busytown Ever! (Hardcover)
This book has lots of little windows that open to show what's going on behind them. It has been great entertainment throughout the first two years of my daughter's life and probably for at least two more! When she was very small she enjoyed touching the flaps and watching me open them. Now she can open them by herself and fold the book out into a town.

This review is from: Richard Scarry'S Busiest Busytown Ever! (Hardcover)
This has been an absolute favorite with my son since he was a bit over one year of age. He is a huge fan of Richard Scarry and wants to look at this book all the time. He never seems to tire of it.
