we bought these books for our 2-year-old son. His little hands had comic trouble holding big 'truck' books in the backseat of the car. So we bought these books as take-along books for car, plane, doctor visits, etc. They are terrific for little hands - still our favorites.

This set is comprised of 4 small board books, each on a different theme ("cars", "planes", etc.). There is no plot to these at all, each page just has a single vehicle and the word describing that vehicle. My child loves Richard Scarry books but only looked at these for awhile and then hasn't come back to them, I think these are best for very young children or babies who enjoy a fun bright picture to look at and get the experience of turning pages.

if your little one likes cars, trucks, boats & planes - these are terrific. they are small and good to take along with on outings.

Got this set of books for my two year old. He loves them! Lots of fun looking at the cars trucks planes and added nonsensical vehicles.
