My daughter loves this book
We got this as a Christmas present, and my 3 1/2 year old daughter has requested it almost everyday since. She takes it to bed with her! I think the fact that it is 5 stories holds her interest more, although she would be happy to read them all in a row. It seems like it would be best for the 3-6 year set.

Okay book, but...
It was an okay book as far as his usual illustrations and stories but if you don't want your kid learning that it's okay to live with someone you're dating before marriage, then you might not care for this book.

This collection of 5 stories is wonderful. Our 2 year old loves the stories in here. The one he finds most funny is the one in which the family asks a general contractor to fix a squeaking door hinge, and the contractor goes "crazy" with the fixes, and the family returns to a drive-in kitchen! :)

My daughter brought this book home from school and sat for an hour reading and enjoying the illistrations. She even asked to read the book with me. Whenever a book can keep the attention of a five year old and prompt a child to want to share that book with a parent makes it a great book to me.
