Richard Scarry passed away at his home of Gstaad, Switzerland in 1994.
Whenever asked how old he was, he would always put up one hand and
laugh: " Five!" . And he was always right !

My mother read this to me back in the 70s. Now I read it to my boys. It's big. It's excellent. Wish they'd re-publish this and "Cars, and Trucks, and things that go". Both are top notch for boys age 1-5.
